Shigemi 1.8

This is one of the best Shigemikan I've ever played. It has perfect balance, near-perfect tuning, and exceptional range and depth to the tone due to its very large bore profile. Theoretically a shakuhachi with a very heavy lower range should lack brilliance in the upper notes, but this shakuahachi and another I have by Miura Kindo have a heavy lower range yet sing easily and strongly in the upper range as well. So much for theory. This is a consignment instrument.
